Biography
Magical Starsign
Upon meeting the party for the first time, Pickles sensed they came from Kovomaka, explaining how it was not well-known among people of the Baklava system's five main planets. He also revealed that students of Ambergris Prep invented a new spell, gifting the party a brawly book to teach them brawly ball, as well as a scampi ball. Pickles then asked the party to give him enemy husks that they found in battle, which he could use to power up the scampi ball.[1]
Nomenclature
His name comes from pickle, a cucumber fermented in brine or vinegar. This actually is a mistranslation of his Japanese name, Pickel, which is derived from Eispickel (German for "ice axe").
