Pêche is a positive, up-beat, and sometimes clumsy love ambassador who likes to keep things in order. She often is portrayed as the peacekeeper of the group, but has a hard time concentrating under stress, especially when her classmates blatantly ignore her directions. She cherishes all life, no matter how good or bad, and enjoys knitting in her free time. In Japanese, Pêche punctuates her sentences with の no, and uses the ちゃん -chan honorific when referring to her friends.
Pêche has beige fur, pink eyes, clawed hands, and padded feet, possessing four wings on her head and two on her back. Her pink hair protrudes into a pair of cone-like horns which are tipped with golden streamers. For clothing, she wears a red heart-shaped bandeau top that extends into pink and purple striped pants.
Gameplay
Pêche joins the party in Remittsu Palace on the Light Plane, starting at level 6 and love magic level 4. She uses the love spirit, which has no strength or weakness against any other spirit. Her magic is geared towards healing, able to recover allies' HP and MP, as well as increase their MP%. Pêche offers great support with her high MP, MP%, and spirit (magic defense), but has very low HP, power, and defense.
Translation:A noisy, clumsy missionary of love A love ambassador girl. She attends the Magic School to learn social studies. With respect to love and rules, she's quite the busybody and a bit of a nag. Nevertheless, her self-paced classmates don't bother heeding her advice, so her efforts always seem in vain.
Biography
Early life
Pêche's parents used to live in Wakuti Village on the Light Plane, but frequently visited the Material Plane to conduct research. They eventually moved to the Material Plane where Pêche was born. Growing up, her parents would tell her about Wakuti Village.[2]
As a love ambassador, Pêche was raised to be diligent and overly kindhearted. One time on the way to Will-o'-Wisp Academy, she accidentally stepped on a grasshopper, so she brought it home and tried nursing it back to health. The grasshopper died just three hours later, which made Pêche cry for the rest of the day, but it appeared in her dream later that night and thanked her with a smile. On another day, Lemon noticed she had stepped on a cricket while hanging out with Pêche and Blueberry. Lemon knew Pêche would be upset if she found out, so she quickly squished the cricket. After Pêche returned home, Lemon admitted to Blueberry that she killed a cricket, to which Blueberry laughed and revealed she stepped on a praying mantis.[3]
She appears to be the only female love ambassador with two horns, whereas most have three.
Most illustrations featuring Pêche depict her with the ability to float. This ability is not seen in game, however, due to the graphical limitations of the Game Boy Advance.
Nomenclature
Her name comes from pêche (pronounced pesh), meaning "peach" in French.
