The door to the heavens is a character in Magical Starsign. He is a sentient door residing in Will-o'-Wisp Academy's attic, who serves to protect the six pursuit rockets stored in the clocktower.
Profile
In the original Japanese version, the face on the door has a slight brown complexion with blushed cheeks, ring-shaped door handles in his nostrils, and pink lips. He also possesses curved metal ornaments on his face, resembling eyebrows and a moustache. Due to the racist nature of this design, the door's face is silver-gray in the United States and European localizations of the game, and the nose ring handles and exaggerated lips are removed.
Biography
Magical Starsign
While the protagonist, Mokka, and Sorbet searched for Lassi around Will-o'-Wisp Academy, wondering if she was searching for a rocket, they found the door to the heavens slumbering in the attic. Mokka remarked that he had no data on the door, but sensed strong magical power, to which the protagonist approached it. Awoken by their presence, the door ordered the protagonist to prove their power by unleashing their light/dark wild magic. In doing so, the door declared them worthy and opened up, allowing the students to enter the academy's secret rocket bay.
