History
Thousands of years ago, a tribe of felins left their home country in the Wind Plane and traveled to other worlds. Those who arrived in the Dark Plane founded Tapiocatea Village, but back then, it was surrounded by lakes and rivers that flowed from Rehikafu Bog. Many years later, enigmas invaded the Water Plane and attacked the colossal water people, splitting them up into smaller bodies and scattering them across the universe. Some wound up on the Dark Plane, so to protect themselves from the darkness, they took water from the lakes to construct Akvavit Castle. This left Kumuyamuto Desert in its place, and also caused the power of darkness to fester across the entire plane. Luckily, the felins adapted by learning how to cross the desert and eating the invasive aplysia.
Nomenclature
Its name comes from tapioca tea, also known as bubble tea or boba, a Taiwanese beverage made with chewy tapioca pearls.
