The species encyclopedia is a key item and a log of information about the various species in Magical Vacation. Entries are added when the player interacts with a new species. It is obtained by talking to every pot at a house in Toruna Village, then talking to the resident puppet.

001	文鳥 Sparrow	どこにでもいる小さな鳥。米のように白い色から、ライスバードとも呼ばれる。水あびが大好き。原種は桜文鳥で、黒と白とグレーの三色。 Small birds that can be seen anywhere. Also called ricebirds for their white rice color. They love bathing. They originate from the sakura java sparrow, appearing either black, or white and gray.
002	カエルグミ Gummy frog	カエルの魂（命）が宿ったグミ。緑・青・赤の全部で3種類。光の三原色との関係が話題になったこともあるが、あまり関係ないらしい。 Gummies housing the souls (life force) of frogs. The three types are green, blue, and red. Comparison with the three colors of light is widely talked about, but it seems unrelated.
003	ミミズグミ Gummy worm	ミミズの魂（命）が宿ったグミ。帯状のものは体の一部で、はがすと死んでしまう。黄色・赤の全部で2種類。 Gummies housing the souls (life force) of worms. The band-like thing is part of its body, and if removed, it will die. The two types are yellow and red.
004	ツボ Pot	無機物のくせに命がある、こわれやすい種族。役に立つツボから、ただジャマなだけのツボまで、世界には様々なツボがいる。 A fragile race that, despite being inorganic, is sentient. There are many pots around the world, some of which are useful, while others are plain nuisances.
005	ピッツァ Pizza	まつぼっくりマニアの少年。どこからでも異次元ハットでワープさせてくれる。たまにワープできない時もあるけど、クレームは受けつけていない。 A young pinecone maniac. He can warp you anywhere with his extradimensional hat. Sometimes his warping fails, but he takes no complaints.
006	パペット Puppet	命を吹き込まれた人形。歳をとるタイプのパペットもいるが、光のプレーンのパペットは歳をとらない。歳をとらないパペットも、壊れると死んでしまう。 Dolls come to life. Certain types of puppets age, but puppets from the Plane of Light do not. Unageing puppets only die if they break.
007	こんにゃく様 Master Konjac	こんにゃくいもで増える不思議な生命体。昔、鉄をも切り裂く剣を持った悪鬼が、彼らの国を襲ったとき、彼らの柔らかい体はその剣をはじき返したと言われる。 Strange life forms that grow from konjac potatoes. It is said that in days of old, when demons with steel-cutting swords swarmed their country, their soft bodies repelled the swords.
008	古代機械 Ancient machine	古代人が作った機械の生き物で、人工知能ケロケロアルファで動いている。人工知能ケロケロベータの開発中にプログラムが暴走して、古代文明は滅びたらしい。 Mechanical organisms created by ancient people, powered by AI Ribbit Ribbit Alpha. During AI Ribbit Ribbit Beta's development, the ancient civilization was annihilated after the program went awry.
009	ピラニア Piranha	乱暴で金にキビシイ魚。あとで何かお返しをしてくれるらしい。ブラー以外にも、いろんな金貨銀貨を集めまくっているとも言われている。 Violent money-hungry fish. They say they give things back to you later. It is also said that they collect all kinds of gold and silver coins in addition to bura.
010	愛の大使 Love ambassador	お花や小鳥やちょうちょが好きな、愛に生きる人々。自分のことよりも他人のためになることを考える。女の子は可愛いけど、男はみんなブサイク。 People who live for the sake of love, and love flowers, birds, and butterflies. They put others' needs before their own. The females are pretty, but all the boys are kind of ugly.
