Nomenclature

The name "shaky ball" is a mistranslation of "yurero ball" (ユーレロボール, yūrero bōru). Yurero ram is the Japanese name of bellber, which is derived from 揺れる yureru, a verb that describes an oscillating, fluctuating, or shaking motion, referring to the bell it carries. This error was carried over to most of the European localizations.
