The name's Kaz, but you can call me Windsock or Wind. I'm a Magical Vacation superfan, Brownie Brown archivist, and Kovopedia's editor-in-chief.
I do a lot of translation work covering both Magical Vacation and Magical Starsign, and I'm currently working on a refined English translation spreadsheet for Vacation which will improve upon the current one by magicalpatcher. Aside from TLs, I also write extensively on the games' characters and lore, as well as the creative minds behind the series. If you have any questions, whether it's wiki/translation-related, or you just want some super niche MV/MS trivia, we can chat on my talk page. You can also send questions to our ask box on Kovopedia's Tumblr blog.

My history with MagiVaca
It may come as a surprise, but I got into MagiVaca much later than most people in the English-speaking community, many of whom played Starsign in their childhood. For me, I discovered the series when I obtained the Magical Vacation Protagonists Spirit in Smash Ultimate around Christmas 2018. Shinichi Kameoka's art style immediately captivated me, and after watching a playthrough of the English fan translation, I knew I had to devote myself to learning everything about the series. This not only motivated me to self-teach Japanese, but I was also profoundly inspired by Kameoka's artwork, which led me to even more JRPG series like Seiken Densetsu and SaGa. I eventually got my hands on the Complete Guide in December 2019, and a legitimate copy of Magical Vacation in June 2021 for my GBA SP.
In February 2022, I started sharing my knowledge on the old Magical Vacation Wiki on Fandom, which hosted a shallow amount of actual Magical Vacation content at the time. I had zero wiki-editing experience back then, but with Rman41's help, I got the hang of things and started developing the Vacation-related pages. I even got a copy of Starsign in March to learn more about that game, and expanded Magical Vacation Wiki until Rman and I left Fandom just eight months later to begin work on Kovopedia.
So much has happened since Kovopedia's founding, including but not limited to: translating the entirety of Magical Vacation's script, bringing the community together with a character popularity poll, and getting to stand outside Brownies' office building in Kichijōji. There's still a lot more I want to accomplish with this obscure series that's been in suspension for almost two decades, because it's fundamentally changed my outlook on JRPGs as an artistic medium, and I hope you'll stick around to see it ;P
