Timberpoly is a spirit in the EGGLIA series.
Profile
Origin
Timberpoly's Japanese name, Chanda (チャンダ, Chanda), comes from Kōji Tsuda's nickname Ndatcha (んだっちゃ, Ndatcha).[1]
Since Tsuda is considered an ameotoko (an unlucky man who is jinxed to have rain follow him) among Brownies personnel, the staff decided to give Timberpoly his likeness, as well as a cheerfully personality that begs for sunshine. Moreover, Tsuda and Yōichi Hirakawa, Timberpop's design basis, are close friends in real life, hence why Timberpoly and Timberpop are a Link Rune pairing in the game. Both spirits were also designed by Hirakawa.[2]
