Profile

Origin

Sizzic is based off Kagutsuchi-no-Mikoto (加(カ)具(グ)土(ツチ)命(ノミコト), Kagutsuchi-no-Mikoto), a fire deity in classic Japanese mythology. He is a son of Izanami and Izanagi, the creator gods of Japan, and burned his mother Izanami when he was born. He was beheaded by his father Izanagi and severed into eight pieces, each one becoming volcanoes, while his corpse created many new deities. According to Japanese mythos, Kagutsuchi is born when the world is created and signifies its death.
