Phantom jar, known in Japan as jar phantom, is an enemy found in the Couscous Ruins on Puffoon in Magical Starsign.

Profile

Phantom jars are white and red-patterned containers with four standing legs. Their lids can be opened, acting as a mouth.

Gameplay

Despite having the dark starsign, phantom jars do not possess any spells. They have the skill Crippling BO, which deals damage to every member of the party with a chance to lower its targets' defense. They also have the skill suspicious smirk, which similarly strikes all members with the potential to inflict curse. They have increased resistance against magic attacks.
