Nina is a spirit in the EGGLIA series.
Profile
Origin
Nina's name and design are based on a "red aunt" from Brownies personnel Ichiki "Okā-san" Akihiro's favorite game, presumably Nina Cochrane from SaGa Frontier 2. According to designer Shūhei Yamashita, Nina's Spirit Talks were written at 2 in the morning on a Saturday, when localization submissions were due, during the end-of-the-year rush. Her caring, motherly dialogue reflected words of encouragement that Yamashita wanted to hear at the time, which he claimed was well-received by players.[1][2]
