The sound spirit is strong against stone, but weak to blade and dark. For spells, sound magic has a chance to put enemies to sleep, and soul march can increase allies' spirit (magic defense). Arancia Scorenote and Dodo use the sound spirit, and the protagonist can choose sound as their starting attribute.
On the field, sound spirits are disguised as music notes. They can be befriended with hamonic gold coins, and if the player has the small ocarina while Arancia is in the party, they will ask for less hamonic gold coins.
